Kindness is a Language!

Hello Friends, Happy Monday!
Generosity starts with the heart and kindness is the gift others receive when we share it unconditionally! Its amazing that being generous is one of those universal languages that everyone can understand an appreciate no matter where you are from and how you were raised. Its the language of love that speaks through kindness and generosity. It sparks a new joy within and inspires me to participate in the random acts of kindness movement throughout the month of December starting tomorrow. I will write down the things I do that are kind and generous to others around me. Its the perfect time because everyone is feeling the holiday spirit all around them. I will make a list and see what I come up with. At the end of the day is about the moments you share that create lasting memories that spark kindness is others! Its a contagious thing in a good way of course. Generosity is one of the ways that unites us all.

Floral Print Maxi Dress + Green/Black Jacket

Hello Friends, Happy Thursday!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! What are you most grateful for? First of all I am thankful for my life just the way it is right now, I'm thankful for family and friends who add such much joy and happiness. I'm also grateful for this platform I have created. I really love to style outfits and create lifestyle content for all of you. It fuels my passion for life and grows my creativity, my imagination to a whole new level. Its constantly evolving and that is so exciting. I wore this dress to my friends thanksgiving dinner. It fit the occasion because it reminded me of all the changing colors of fall with the dark yellows, reds, oranges, purples and browns which are all in this dress. I paired it with these booties and this two tone green and black jacket I got from the snobswap party. This outfit of the day came together really nicely and I am pretty proud of myself.

Hello Friends, Happy Monday!
One of the things I have discovered about my style is that it has definitely evolved and changed for the better. Constantly styling my outfits for the blog has taken my skills to the next level. I feel like I have seen my 5 style resolutions I made at the beginning of the year come full circle and accomplished. Its one of those things that you have to look back and reflect to see how far you've come. Its one of those things I love about creating it constantly evolves and changes to places you would of never expected! Your eyes are not deceiving you, you have seen this Multicolor blazer before and yes I am pairing it with this Plaid midi skirt, it comes together so unexpectedly and beautifully that I cant help but smile and be confident. Its what I call pattern mixing with bright colors. I just love it! That's what I am grateful for this week my creativity growing.

Layered Jumpsuit + Trench Coat

Hello Friends, Happy Friday!
We have reached the end of the Trench coat series. Please see the Denim Dress + African Skirt here for Part 1 and 2. This outfit came to as a suggestion. I had a creative block when my Blogger friend Saumya  inspired and helped me style this outfit as a layered jumpsuit. I love how  it came together the cowl neck sweater with the statement necklace add a hint of glamour and sophistication to the look. I would wear this to an after work event in the fall and winter. It definitely inspires me to dig deeper into my stylist skills and create new outfits directly from my closet. This series also was inspired by this blog post I wrote earlier this year: 5 ways to wear a trench coat. Styling is all about versatility, inspiration and using what you have to create a signature style all your own.

African Print Skirt + Trench Coat

Hello Friends, Happy Wednesday!
When wearing a trench coat I have to style it with my favorite African print skirt I got on my most recent trip back home. It really gives the trench a dose of culture and heritage. The first way I styled this outfit on Monday I went classic  with a denim shirt dress and today is with an African twist. I really like how a classic piece can be transformed many different ways just check out these 5 ways to wear a trench coat. This is a great outfit for the cooler fall weather, I have styled it with cowl neck sweater, black opaque tights and ankle cutout booties. This look gives new life to a classic trench coat. Please let this series serve as your inspiration for future outfits. I work in a semi-casual environment this will definitely be an outfit I would wear.
