Ocean Blue

Hello Friends, Happy Thursday!
Today I'm traveling back to when I was in Kinshasa last month visiting "La Cite De Fleuve" with my Dad, big brother and my two younger sisters. Kinshasa is metropolitan city that is constantly growing with new residential and commercial developments all around the city. This city is built on reclaimed land where the builders fill part of the river with sand that will form land and foundation. It is a city on the river. There will be apartments, houses, offices, condos and small retail shops . It has all the luxury and practical amenities, it definitely an expats dream. There is a lot of foreign investment taking place in the capital and means there is also a lot of opportunity here and this excites me. Its a city within a city with amazing river views of Downtown Kinshasa and Congo, Brazzaville.

After the tour we ate  lunch at the city famous italian restaurant  Limoncello  in the heart of downtown Kinshasa. Its where the US Secretary of State  John Kerry ate when he was in town and it has gain more popularity. Its also one of my Dad's favorite restaurants in the city. We had congolese delicacies for appetizers and I choose the prawn seafood pasta that is absolutely delicious! Man, I miss this city so much!

Overall I had a wonderful Sunday afternoon with my favorite people in the world. What I wore was this Ocean Blue Dress I bought last minute at Old Navy. I paired it with African and Gold Bracelets and these simple JustFab black flats to complete the look. Cant wait to show and share you more of my trip to Kinshasa. For now watch these clips from my sisters Instagram here, here, here and here

Thank you for Reading. Until Next time.
