Embrace!

Hello Friends! Happy Monday!
Its May! Can you believe it that we are quickly approaching Summer time and I'm excited! This is also a brand new month and the theme of the month is EMBRACE. Since last month was all about celebration I wanted this month to be about adjustment, acceptance and moving forward with this new phase in my life so thats why when the word embrace came along I new I had to make it the theme of the month. If you missed any of my busy April birthday month with Spring outfits, videos and life lessons, check out Its the Weekend, April Wrap Up.

Embrace is defined as an act of accepting or supporting something willingly or enthusiastically. This is exactly how I feel this month. The anticipation of turning thirty is now turned into embracing it with an open heart and arms and making the most out of my milestone year. I updated my milestone birthday post with thoughts and feelings I had about turning thirty and what that means to me now.

This week, I'll be sharing the new list I have about all the thirty activities I want to accomplish before my next birthday. I have crossed out one or two already. I look forward to getting things done this year because now more than ever i will use my time with focus and intention. Check out my video I made 6 months ago (7 things to do before 30)

I also have two weddings I will be attending this month. I will be sharing my what to wear to as a Wedding guest. Two years ago I went to an African Wedding and this is what I wore. It was a beautiful yellow dress and I seriously want to wear it again but the worst thing is to upstage the bride and that is not going to happen!
